There are so many backyard dog breeders that only see dogs as a way to profit. These people use dogs to produce puppies to be sold, and they often overbred dogs that they end up getting sick.
In most cases, dogs used by backyard breeders to produce puppies don’t even know how to be dogs.
An adorable pitbull named Lexy was used by backyard breeders to produce puppies. Lexy was kept locked away for many years that she didn’t even know how to be a dog.
Thankfully, Lexy was rescued and adopted by a loving family who was determined to help Lexy learn to be a dog again.
Lexy was kept locked away for many years that it took Lexy a very long time to figure out what a dog bed was. Lexy eventually placed one paw on the dog bed and figured out that she can lie down on it. The dog bed was right in front of the fireplace, and Lexy loved it that she couldn’t stop wagging her tail.
Lexy’s new mom, Jenny Mackay, taught Lexy things that she never knew she loves doing before, such as treats, walks, car rides. When Jenny first took Lexy home, Lexy didn’t even know how to play with dog toys. Jenny could tell that Lexy was never taken out on walks. Lexy’s paws had no wear and tear on them.
Lexy’s been overbred so much that her belly almost touched the ground while she’s standing. Lexy missed out a lot on her life, but Jenny wanted to help Lexy make up for the lost time. When Jenny first took Lexy out on walks in a patch of grass, Lexy immediately dropped and rolled and loved the feeling of grass on her body.
Jenny knew that Lexy was going to be okay. Lexy also found something that helped her feel more relaxed and comfortable. While walking through a pet store, Lexy grabbed a stuffed toy made to look like a shark, and it’s been the toy she loves to cuddle ever since.
At first, Lexy didn’t like to go swimming at the beach. However, when she followed another dog into the water, Lexy suddenly realized what she was missing and now loves going for a swim.
Despite experiencing a lot of pain in her past, Lexy still loves meeting people. She’s never met a stranger, and everyone she meets is her best friend. Here’s a remarkable video showing how Jenny changed Lexy’s life and helped her learn to become a dog again.
