It’s not always the case that the human owner teaches a dog some playful tricks. It can actually be the other way around! This fact is true to dogs and little babies, especially during their bonding or idle time.
This is the story of a cute little baby in her early months and a Malamute in their household one day. Captured by their parents, the video under the Life with Malamutes account shows Mia on the bed lying on her stomach. The protective Niko was also lying on the same bed, observing how the little human seemingly trying to crawl and wiggle on the bed.
The human parents even put closed captions on the said video, probably these thoughts were what Niko had in his mind while watching little Mia try to crawl in bed one morning. The Malamute looked all concerned as Mia tried to inch her way from her initial position, only to remain in the same place.
After a while, when Mia’s attention was all on him now, the big Malamute Niko positioned himself in front of her with his stomach on the soft covers. Slowly, Niko dragged his whole body away with his feet in a crawling manner. He was definitely teaching the little human how to crawl! He did this a few more times in bed while Mia was looking at him!
The bond between dogs and little humans, especially babies, can be undeniably stronger than the relationship with their parents. Last week, we also featured the story of two dogs helping a toddler open the door of her bedroom so they could play down the halls in the middle of the night until early in the morning. Stories like these are captivating the hearts of citizens all around the world. No wonder that clips like this are going viral in just a few days.
Dogs are said to be beneficial to babies other than the reason for being the little humans’ overprotective bodyguards. Babies playing around with dogs are said to boost their mental and emotional development. Dogs make your little ones happy, increasing the babies’ dopamine and serotonin levels. These chemicals are responsible for the release of positive feelings in humans. In addition to that, it is also a stress reliever for the parents. Imagine coming home from work just to see your baby and dog happily cuddling and playing around the house together. This cute scenario will definitely boost your happy hormones and get rid of stress right away.
